Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of bluffbucks.net and any hunt you book with Bluff Bucks Outfitters ("we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or booking a hunt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Part 1: Using Our Website

Website Content

All photos, trail-cam images, text, logos and other content on this site are owned by Bluff Bucks Outfitters or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to our pages for personal use. You may not copy, download, republish or use our photos or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Acceptable Use

Please do not misuse the site, including sending spam or harmful code through our contact form, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or scraping content.

Accuracy of Information

We work to keep our website accurate, but hunt details, dates, packages and availability may change without notice. Harvest statistics, average buck scores and success rates describe past seasons and are not a guarantee of future results. Wildlife is wild: no outfitter can promise you will see, shoot or harvest a particular animal.

Links to Other Sites

Our site may link to or embed content from other websites, such as Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you share with us.

Part 2: Booking a Hunt

Reservations

You may request hunt dates by phone or email. We will hold a requested date for seven (7) business days while you send your deposit. Your hunt is confirmed only once we receive your deposit and send you a booking confirmation.

Deposits and Payment

  • A deposit of one-half (1/2) of the hunt cost is due at booking.
  • The remaining balance is due by August 1st of your hunt year.
  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • Meals and lodging are included with all hunting packages unless stated otherwise.

Required Forms

Upon booking you will receive a booking confirmation, a recommended gear list, a questionnaire (diet, health, experience and emergency contact) and an Acknowledgment of Risk form. Every hunter must sign the Acknowledgment of Risk form before hunting.

Licenses and Regulations

Each hunter is responsible for obtaining the proper Wisconsin hunting licenses, tags and any required hunter education certification, and for following all Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources regulations and applicable laws. Firearms and archery equipment must be transported, stored and handled safely and legally at all times.

Antler Restriction

To protect the quality of our herd, the following minimums apply to every buck harvested:

  • 8-point bucks: 130" minimum gross score
  • All other bucks: 140" minimum gross score

A $2,000 fine applies to any buck harvested that does not meet these minimums.

Wound Policy

Once you draw blood on a deer, your buck hunt is over, whether or not the animal is recovered. Our guides will make every reasonable effort to help track and recover wounded game.

Conduct and Safety

For the safety of everyone in camp, hunters must follow guide instructions, use fall-arrest harnesses in elevated stands, and not handle firearms or hunt under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We may end the hunt of anyone who acts unsafely, breaks the law or disrupts other guests, without refund.

Weather and Conditions

Hunting conditions depend on weather, deer movement and other factors outside our control. No refunds or credits are given for poor weather, unfilled tags, or days you choose not to hunt.

Part 3: General Terms

Assumption of Risk

Hunting and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks, including falls, weather exposure, rugged terrain, wildlife and firearm or archery accidents. You participate voluntarily and accept these risks, as further described in the Acknowledgment of Risk form you sign before your hunt.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bluff Bucks Outfitters, its owners, guides and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your hunt, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for your hunt. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Wisconsin law.

Website Provided "As Is"

This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Buffalo County, Wisconsin.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. The terms in effect when you book apply to that hunt.
